Gastric neurofibroma:
- rare neurogenic tumor of the stomach
- gastrointestinal involvement in one-fourth of patients with von Recklinghausen disease
- malignant degeneration is possible (13%)
- symptoms: anemia, GI bleeding, dyspepsia, pain
- treatment: surgical resection
