1. Dilation balloon placed over the guide wire so that its centre is approximately 1 cm above the diaphragm (position of GE junction was marked during endoscopy by radio-opaque marker). Than radio-opaque dye is under fluoroscopic control injected into the balloon. The waist of the balloon is caused by lower esophageal sphincter (LES).
2. The balloon was inflated until the waist disappeared.
