Amyloidosis

Amyloidosis of the colon and small intestine in a patient with Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia. Presenting symptom of the patient was diarrhea suggestive of malabsorption. Endoscopic images show non-specific mucosal abnormalities found on endoscopic examination. Amyloid depositions were histologicaly confirmed in all biopsy samples obtained from the duodenum, ileum and colon.
