Technique of submucosal injection for polypectomy.

Sessile tubulovillous adenoma with high-grade dysplasia of the sigmoid colon. Injection of saline solution into the submucosa results in formation of a bleb in the submucosa and elevation of the mucosal lesion. Piecemeal snare resection of the elevatad lesion and tattoo of the resection site.
