Nonpolypoid neoplastic lesions (flat adenomas).

Nonpolypoid (flat) lesion may be endoscopically defined by a height of the lesion less than half the diameter of the lesion.

(Histologically in this case tubular adenoma with low-grade dysplasia)

Paris classification compares the height of the lesion to that of the height of closed cups of a biopsy forceps. The lesion is called nonpolypoid when its elevation is not more than the diameter of the forceps (which is 2,5mm).

The same lesion. Chromoscopy using 0,5% indigocarmine solution. Slightly elevated lesion with relative central depression. 0 IIa + IIc lesion according to Paris classification.
