Lipomas are usually soft-elastic, have smooth surfaces and are yellowish in color and show a pillow-sign (when pressed by forceps).

Giant lipoma causing an intermitent intestinal obstruction and hematochesia. Lipoma was arising from ascending colon, while the head of the tumor was in the transverse colon.
