Superior mesenteric artery thrombosis.

Colonoscopic finding of ischemic colitis and ischemic ileitis in a patient with haematochesia and abdominal pain. Mucosa of the ascending colon, caecum and ileum is edematous and erythematous with ulcers. Transition from ischemic mucosa to normal mucosa in the hepatic flexure is abrupt. Angiography showed superior mesenteric artery thrombosis.
