Candida colitis

Candida colitis diagnosed in an older patient with diabetes mellitus. Clostridium difficile infection was ruled out. After anti-fungal treatment all symptoms (fever and diarrhea) disappeared. Follow-up colonoscopy showed complete healing of the lesions.
